Mapo ward office promoted the Yanghwajin sacred ground enterprise after being supported by Seoul city. In 2003, the underground car parking area and the underground roadway was built and in May 2995, the preparations for the ‘Seoul foreign missionary cemetery park’ were set.

-The 100th anniversary business council (Manager Lee Won-Yong Kang preserved and managed the Yanghwajin cemetery and Missionary remembrance building. Also, to remember the 100th missionary and to cultivate the 200th missionary’s vision, Yanghwajin cemetery was established for the church.
*April 2005. The 100th anniversary business council chose to build the 100th anniversary church. 10th July 2005 a founding service was taken and the Yanghwajin’s boundaries of the graves and Missionary remembrance building were trusted to the 100th anniversary church.

The 100th anniversary church’s cemetery formal name was ‘ Yanghwajin foreign missionary cemetery’.
